Flashing Red Walls In The Sims 2?

ok i know other question like this were posted but the didn't help me. Can someone put the answer in the dumbest terms possible because i'm not a computer genius.

This happened when i installed the Sims 2 Seasons and it's really getting annoing now.>>>>>Please Help!!!!

o yeah and my video card is Rage Fury Pro/Xpert 2000 Pro

you need a new video card. the game is much more advanced than the card, and it cannot translate information from the game into pictures fast enough
