It's been 6 years since 9/11 happened. Some people never get their facts straight. President Bush got it straight and said so publically.

There's no relationship between Iraq and 9/11 incident. It was a plea for George Bush to occupy Iraq for oil.His father had tried earlier .....but, couldn't .The present Bush had found some allies eager to get share of the booty and jumped into this mad war ......UK and others being no exception. The final result s known .The world today is more unsafe than ever before.Americans are hated most nation on earth. The terrorism has got a boost due to this insane action.Even withdrawal of troops from Iraq will not rectify the this stupid "blunder" .....committed deliberately on the basis of wrong premises. The price for this misadventure is and will remain very heavy primarily for the US and the world as whole.

I am going to answer with a question. Why do people really care what the reason is that we are in Iraq. They harbored terrorist and were under the rule of a very cruel man that needed to be taken out of power and we have done that. I would like to see out troops come home but will support them no matter where they are sent as will as this great nation.

Front line did a episode on this a few months ago. One of the masterminds behind 9-11 escaped to Iraq. He's the one that stared all the terrorism there, after the liberation.

'We' didn't believe Iraq had anything to do with 9/11. This administration has spent the last 7 years (yes, even before 9/11. Why do you think Bush choose Cheney, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, Powell as his closest advisors? All political veterans of the first Gulf War) convincing us Iraq was a threat. After 9/11 people bought what they were selling because they wanted too, period. I didn't not believe Bushco then, and my distrust has last all through this long and almost intolerable adminstration.

after being attacked on 9-11 without delay, we couldnt take any threat of terrorists procuring WMD or different help from countries adversarial to us. After 9-11 we couldnt take that threat, the administration known because it the a million% rule. If there grow to be even a a million% danger of Iraq giving cloth to Alqaeda to apply against the U. S., than that threat, no remember how small, could could desire to be mitigated, so as to ascertain a 9-11 kind attack interior the destiny, did no longer contain WMD. you have the luxurious of monday morning quarterbacking, in february of 03' all people, from the U. S., to France, to Russia, to Egypt, to Pakistan, to Saddam himself, to the democrat senators right here, all stated that Iraq had those weapons of mass destruction, and an awl to grind against the U. S.. kerry even stated 'in case you dont have faith that Saddam Hussein is a threat with weapons of Mass Destruction, then Dont vote for me" Had Bush no longer acted, and Saddam did help Alqaeda, then each and all the conspiracy theorists could be announcing bush didnt do sufficient to take care of us. that he KNEW that they had WMD, and did no longer something to take care of usa. Germany did no longer attack us at pearl harbor. yet we nonetheless fought them.

Americans are notoriously ill-informed people, given that they have access to information but don't care to find it. The average Sicilian peasant living in a dirt house knows more about his government than an American does.

I never hear conservatives saying we are fighting in Iraq because of 9/11. I usually just hear democrats putting those words in our mouth. If you listen to the speech Bush gave the night before the war began he mostly talks about the 12 years of non-conformity to UN imposed sanctions that Saddam was guilty of. And of course the mass murder of the very citizens he ruled with an iron fist. And yes, weapons of mass destruction that were moved to Syria in the days leading up to the war.

Because the government wants us to think Iraq is involved! GWB just wanted to get control of oil in the middle east so he used 9/11 as an excuse to attack Iraq.
