Did Santa bring you everything you wanted for the Holiday or did he forget something ?

Yes, we do limit the kids to asking for no more than 3 items. We explain that Santa has so many kids to give gifts to that he can only give each one a few items. We also let them know when they ask for big ticket items that they are being greedy, and Santa may put them on the naughty list for not thinking of others. I have also told my kids that there are certain items I will tell Santa it is not OK with me for him to bring. My older son wants every game system ever created, and I told him I let Santa know that I didn't want any more game systems in the house. Also, you have to let children know that Santa takes into account whether the item they ask for is actually feasible for them and their household. Thus, a little girl who asks for a pony but lives in a small apartment will just not be able to care for the pony properly and it would be a burden on her family. I know that's a bit much for a 4 year old. My youngest son is also 4, and we are trying to get him to understand. :)

Actually, Santa brought me an acute case of Bronchitis so that I had to spend hours in the ER. I am really PO'd at him.

Well....I am happy with most of the things Santa brought for me....and I intend to enjoy it all while it lasts.....I suppose the majority of things in my stocking this year were food of one kind or another!
