Actually I kinda like the hickory farms gift set. The cheese could be better but those sausages are gooooood. If they could figure out a way to preserve milk and bread like that I'd do all the grocery shopping over their website.
What I'd really like is one of those Thompson cigar company samplers.

Either one would have been nice. What I got was a heart shaped box of stale, cheap Valentine candy on February 22, as a combined Valentine/birthday present from the man I'd been married to for 30 years. Divorced that sucker, but that wasn't why.

Although they're both OKAY gifts, I'm gonna have to go with Whitman's. First off, after the 2nd piece, you're so over it. 2nd, its like the universal drug store gift for every holiday! I mean, at least wait until Valentine's Day for giving that...I have to agree with you.

If you want them they are not thoughtless gifts. If not they are both generic and worthless. It shows no thought put into a gift.

I would rather have no gift than the generic crap that people give you as an afterthought. I have saved them and given them back as a birthday gift. Strange look on their face when they get it.
