Quota of what? I suppose their are some charities that might have become irrelevant. If a charity collected money to eliminate small pox in America for example, once all small pox is gone, there is no need for the charity.

But I cannot think of any real examples. Most charities are fighting diseases, hunger and poverty that has not yet been cured.

Quota? Charities may strive to get a certain amount-goal, but does that mean more isn't needed?/ There are so many poor, starving people in this world, that a billion dollars would not be enough to feed, house and give them free medical care. The solution would be to open up more low income houses, stop the oil companies from jacking the price of oil,,,stop the leaders of the third world countries from genecide of their own people. On a local level,, try to feed a homeless person, be kind to your neighbors and do the best you can every single day.

The tone of your question implies that charity should be limited to a certain dollar amount after which further assistance should not be offered. The need that the charity is serving must stop at a predetermined point?

It's like asking when has a charity stopped serving because the charity decided the problem they are devoted to has officially been resolved.

Do you figure drug abuse, alcohol abuse, poverty, illiteracy, catastrophe aid, blood banks, abused children, abused spouses have some point at which no further assistance is required.

Wow. Merry Christmas. Problem solved. Turn right at utopia.
