thanks for many answers thus far esp. those who believe to be true. Hmm. that really give me rooms for thought in the sense that when i try to make things happen, it just didn't work out. i have no idea if this gal going to be the one but i am amazed she really treated me like gem :p

Absolutely true. I met my guy after deciding that I never wanted to get involved again. Neither of us were looking for love. I thought I was done with it and he was still playing around and had no plans to get serious. 26 years later we're still together and in love.

Absolutely true.
My theory is that when you are actively trying to find love, you get so serious about it that you stop acting like yourself, and begin trying to act like what you think someone else wants. It's when you are relaxed, and not looking, that you act like your true self, and attract the people who are interested in who you really are on the inside. That's the kind of thing which ends up being true love.
I know I certainly wasn't looking for anything more than a roll in the hay when I met my husband. I thought he'd be fun for a few months, as he was a real Casanova, and that then we'd just drift apart and I'd get on with my life. It's been a lot more than a few months--we've been together over 18 years, and married for all but a few months of that time.
Best of luck to you--if you find out she is the one, hold on to her. True love doesn't happen every day.

True love is definitely an unexpected, yet often anticipated thing. I have always been a hopeless romantic at heart, and after going through a rought divorce I wasn't thinking that it would ever end up leading to me finding my one true love. But then I ran into my sweet wife who I hit it off with from the get go. She is fabulous and we love one another though we never thought we would find anyone like we did. She is perfect, Masha'Allah. :-)

I wasn't looking for Love and when I met my Queen neither was she as time wore on we spoke about everyday things the emotions deepened with what was said between us, and within a few days she told me how she truly felt about me and almost a week later we were engaged.
There are those who do not believe in true Love.
There are those who say "Why can't I find Love."
My honest opinion and it will come as no surprise for those who have true love is that "You don't find Love. Love finds you."

Yeah, I believe that is accurate for the most part. But there's not any mystical reason for it, its just logical. If you are actively looking for someone to love, you are more likely to go for the first person that shows you attention and tells you that they love you. If you aren't looking for it, you are going to be more picky and have more confidence.
