windows media player can not burn DVD movies or DVD data. Try using Nero Express, Clone DVD, or Any DVD.

Nero Express*: http://www.nero.com/
Clone DVD: http://www.slysoft.com/
Any DVD: http://www.slysoft.com/

You should have a free copy of Nero 6 or 7 that comes with your DVD burner.

Make sure the RW CD has no other files on it. Format first then burn.
