She married in Texas and live there for 6 months, then moved to WV and lived here for 3 mo. She wants a divorce from a deadbeat man. WV law says you have to be a resident for one year. Does she have any options?

when she meets the residency requirements for WV, then she can divorce.

She could move to Nevada and establish residency in 6 weeks, then she could divorce. Her next option is to find a state where she can establish residency in 6 months and then divorce (VA --6 months if she has no children, otherwise it is a year. Texas 6 months)

If pulling up her life and relocating again is not worth it:
Her best option is to see a lawyer in WV, see what she can do to protect her credit rating until she is able to divorce (her husband could run up debt and she still be responsible for it)

She should see a lawyer. We can't help you here.
