The majority of people around the world are ordinary decent family folk,
bring up their kids,
trying to keep the family together
Holding on to a job.
Following their private beliefs.
If you have neighbours who are constantly stiring up trouble, some will go over the top.

First off, Iranians are not a race.
Second, couldn't you apply that same question to almost every other culture out there?
The fact is that, when you have many, many people from one culture in a certain area, they will most likely interact with each other. That definitely does not mean that they are not opened to other cultures.

Are you saying this from personal experience? or are you saying this from what you heard on television? I doubt you know many iranians. the few middle eastern people i met were really extroverted and got along with everyone.

You state "many Iranians" With a population of millions I doubt you know many Iranians!
