Click on folder where you would like to begin. Hold down the SHIFT Key, Left click mouse, then right click to select DELETE

Well sometimes next to the folder (sent items, inbox) you can right click and options will come up and simply press Erase all.
Other times if your emails have empty boxes next to them, you can click on the box at the very top and it will delete all of them.
Finally you might just be doing the control key method wrong. You have to press control and hold it down while you click on the emails.

Selecting multiple messages Select a mail and then hold down the shift button and press the down arrow Or press control + a on the keyboard Click on the check box above all the mails on the left side Then press delete button on the keyboard
