I have an HP vista premium laptop. I bought it in Sept. of this year. It has been great up until about 3 days ago. The startup was always fairly quick. For the past 3 days however after I put in my password at the welcome screen, it takes longer it goes to a solid pink screen, sits there for about
20 seconds before getting to my desktop screen. Now it takes longer to completely load. It use to didn't do this. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? Can I fix it?

Find the most recent restore point from before this started and restore. If that fixes your problem it was probably just unwanted software trying to load on start up.

I agree that you should try to restore the system to an earlier date. Go to Start; All Programs; Accessories; System Tools; System Restore. Choose a date back when you know your computer was running correctly.
