Aside from genuine markdowns, not inflated comparisons, the best possible selections and sizes may still be available.
At the end of Dec, additional markdowns will be offered, although selections will be more sparse.
By the end of January, prices will be at rock bottom, intended to absolutely move remaining goods. Selection and sizes will be limited.
If you are a good shopper, you will recognize the regular goods that has been reduced.
With limited selections, there are many special purchases delivered to supply high numbers of shoppers. Regular markup is usually maintained on those purchases, with inflated comparisons. Regular sale goods are sold below cost in most cases. The losses are calculated and planned in the original selling prices. Just a fact of life in retail.
