im a new english learner. and i read ads on craiglist.com to learn practical life english.
today i read some lost&found ads and found the sentence " no questions asked " is very often used here. for example,:

Stolen: Carved Bakelite Bangles
I had 2 Bakelite bangles stolen from my shop - one is a wide black carved bangle, the other is an unusual yellow bangle with pineapple carving.
I know I probably will never see them again, but I just wanted to alert the community in case someone tries selling them. I believe it was a collector who knew exactly what they were taking - they were the most expensive among several bangles.
I am a very small business owner without insurance and a very narrow profit margin. I'll take them back with no questions asked. I would also consider a reward. If you have any information, please contact me. Your confidentiality will be protected. Thank you for your help!

The person does not want to know how you came into possession of said items or if you are the thief that took them.
The items are returned, the reward is given, both go on their way

In that sense, the person is saying that whoever gives the stolen items back to them will not be asked a bunch of questions about "where did you get them", "how much did you pay", "who did you buy them from", "did you steal them from me", etc.
Basically, they're saying they won't ask you a bunch of questions about what you're doing because they'd rather just have the items back rather than prosecute someone for stealing them (or having stolen items in their possession).

'No questions asked' is often added to a statement when the asker wants the return of missing property. It means they do not care what happened: they just would like it back.

Here is an example.
If you took my money, give it back to me. No questions asked.
It means I won't take any action against you or say anything as long as I get my money back if you stole it.

It means they will not ask you any questions about how you happen to have them, if you are the one returning them. They do not care if you stole them, even, they just want them back.
