It's a very good thing. An ethical company will have happy employees, which is good for business; happy customers or clients who will tell others; and good for society as a whole. There's no "down-side" for good business ethics. Everyone wins.

Its a good thing, there are days though that it will be hard to stick by them. I apply a strong ethical system in my business and other contemporaries have grown faster than I but they now no longer are in business. So take the long term view and keep your ethics and value intact.

When are ethics not a good thing? Isn't most of the bible about ethics and morals? Ethics must be part of every aspect of a moral society. The absence of ethics equals the presense of immorality.
