I am sorry that you are feeling this way. Before you think of doing anything silly there are other avenues. Firstly I think you should make an appointment with your GP, maybe have a few counselling seesions and perhaphs a self asteem course. I know that sounds scary but the counselling are 1:1, self esteem is 4/5 feeling exactly as you do. As you become confident go to your local church see what lunchclubs they do, and go along to them. You have worked hard your life, and you have allowed future generations to admire the trees, flowers and gardens. It is now your time to enjoy them. Keep Going. xx

It does appear to relate to several health issues.
Is the person under severe stress? Does he have prostate problems?,Diabetes? etc.
My father was in his 70s and still woke "ready to go"
