Definitely...............................NO!!!
People are only forced to wear socks and make it a routine.
I sometimes hate to wear socks but I know the right solution if you want a stink-free feet.
I used to have Singaporean feet: my feet gets really smelly.
So, my father buys a foot powder for me.
Anti-bacterial, fragrance so strong and pleasant.
That solves my problem.
You could just wear slippers.
It do not make your foot stinks.
And frequently immersed you feet in a basin full of hot water for probably 10 minutes every time you put your feet in a shoe for hours. It will help to freshen up the feet odor. Or make it a habit 3 times a week while watching TV or reading.

May your feet makes you happy.

Oh I like this question! Well I like socks. They're just an article of clothing to me, but they don't bother me at all. I only wear the one just below the ankle (you know, the ones that when you're in shoes, you can't see them). I have fifty of those in the funniest/cutest patterns. Some socks are uncomfortable to me such as knee highs...pretty much anything other than the ones below the ankle. I'm lucky because I never get sticky feet. However, I have the worst pet peeve when it comes to socks. I can NOT wear them in bed and when I'm sleeping. It's just so...weird and uncomfortable. Um, I don't know what kind of shoe would be best for you, but I'm sure you can go to the shoe department any where and ask someone who works there. Good luck

Socks serve multiple purposes:

1. They protect the feet from the interior of shoes (those small little tacks that you can't feel through your socks),

2. They (along with moisture from the sweat of your feet) keep the skin of your feet from drying out and cracking.

If, on the other hand, you were socks a lot and develop dry skin, your socks are too thick and are not allowing the feet to moisurize.

Socks do serve a purpose ... and though one may not wearing them, they also protect your shoes. If you don't wear socks, the moisure of your feet go directly into the fabric of the shoe ... and socks are a lot easier to wash than shoes.

Socks are a pain, because socks never travel in pairs, they often get swallowed up with black holes and you can't keep up with the fashion trends. Then there is the dreaded Argyle, if you see a a pair of these Run as fast as you bare feet will carry you, which will not be far in a northern winter. The only known antidote is the unwashed rugby sock thrown directly in the face of the Argyle wearer. The erudite Argyler will crumple in a heap drooling and dryheaving. The scented soccer sock has a similar effect, especially if it is a Celtic scented soccer sock soiled for a season. thems are buggers they are.

Yup, my mom taught me, but after a certain age, it became second nature (I put them on without having to be told). Personally I find socks comforting; I do not think it is a matter of nature or nurture, but simply an acquired habit. Unlike Lamarckian inheritance of acquired characteristics, though, I do not think a sock-loving gene was handed to me from my parents (who, as far as I know, also happily wear socks), so most definitely, God did not put sock-knowledge into my head before I was born. Bonus Answer: No, the other question is sillier. Atheists have morals simply to prove it is possible to have morality without religion; atheists do not wear socks (or not wear them) to prove anything. Therefore, this question is more worthy of pondering over than the morality one.

I only wear socks when I'm wearing shoes. Most of the times I like to wear sandles. But wearing socks in shoes is good for your feet cos it soaks up the sweat which could lead to foot diseases. And it would prevent getting blisters.

You could try nylon socks.

I live in an area with very cold winters, so I am forced to wear socks a good chunk of the year.

When I visit family in Florida, when given the choice, I always go sockless myself!
