If you forgot to get a Christmas present for Charlie Rangel, don't worry. The congressman picked one out for himself, and he's sending you the bill: $2 million for a shiny new Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service at City College.

...Sounds more like the Charles B. Rangle Center for Public Ripoff.
...It is legalized robbery, I'd say. Why doesn't he operate "his foundation" from his house, using his money or raised money, instead of taxpayer funds? It's because it is too easily had and it must be too tempting for him.
...People need to vote out politicians like this, and decrease or remove totally their retirement benefits, and force them back to work, in real jobs. And forget about what pet projects he was able to get - this only serves to buy votes and keep them in office.

Just another reason to vote for Rudy! I think Mr Rangel needs a visit from President Giuliani like the Fulton Fish Market Got... Oh yeah thats right they got so scared they set the place on fire... Well maybe like the hookers on 42nd street...Sorry they got the boot too!

This is why we need Rudy!

Trust ol' Charlie to spend your money for self glorification and self promotion.
That must be part of the trillion dollar tax increase he's proposed.

Next we'll have the Hillary Clinton Center For Self Esteem, where people can go for plastic surgery and sex changes, paid for by the taxpayer.

no different than the McConnell Center at the University of Louisville

George Washington spent money on things like that all the time! We've always been on the brink of socialism. Oh and our founding fathers were atheists too.

I think the "hate" for Mr. Rangle took a new high when he had the audacity to ask the rich (draft legislation) to send their kids to war.

It's so unforgivable , isn't?
