A good friend of mine is a huge fan of Creed and Scott Stapp. She's not ashamed of it, but gets harassed by others constantly because of it. Why is it okay for Creed haters to harass fans of Stapp but not okay if someone downs the haters' favorite musicians. She gets harassed by people she's never even talked to and she's on the verge of reporting those who harass her to the Facebook and MySpace administrations. She doesn't tell the haters that their music sucks. All she says is that's she's a fan of Creed and she winds up getting nasty and disgusting messages and comments. Not cool at all!

Haters shouldn't dish it out without being able to take it. Personally I can't go there on Creed but I would never down someone for positions on musical interest, because it's entirely opinion based and no one is ever *actually* wrong. In short, those should not pass judgement unless they are willing to have a little thrown back their way.

First of all, she should not worry about getting insulted on-line.

Second, there's nothing wrong with Creed because almost all the rock bands out since them copy their sound to a good degree. This includes Nickelback.
