Oh yeah, all the runnin around, wrapping presents, baking cookies, decorating the house & the tree. This is a good week to just chill & get ready for New Years. For me, the let down starts when I start taking down all the decorations. The house looks so bare without them. I keep the spirit kindling inside all year because there is so much magic that is part of Christmas...it puts everyone in a good mood. Guess I should say "most" everyone. The Grinch n Scrooge hang around all year too.

I beloved Christmas whilst i develop right into a baby, yet as an grownup it in simple terms appears like a era of rigidity. i'm consistently relieved whilst it is over for yet another 300 and sixty 5 days. I appreciate the recent 300 and sixty 5 days's celebrations plenty extra!

I think everyone feels some sort of letdown after Chrsitmas.
We tend to be all excited and get our hopes wayyyyyy up, so that n matter what we got, it still doesn't equal the anticipation. Then theres all the decorations that need to be put away, the leftovers to deal with, and don'yt forget the bills. But we do it to ourselves.

Cheers all ! Although Christmas has passed but soon it'll be coming again ... if everyday is Christmas, it won't be special, right ?
Don't worry, we still have a lot of celebrations to go ! For example, it's nearly New Year 2008 ! Let's start the countdown ... Cheers everyone !

Not sure what you mean by let down. But Christmas anymore is a culmination of merchandising and media hype. Its sad to say that but mostly true. We spend too much eat too much and do too little.
However if you feel let down that you didnt get want you wanted, then maybe you need to examine yourself and your motives. This is a season of giving. If you feel you are truly a giver and still let down then maybe you should rethink your friendships.
Hope this helps a little

Don't feel too bad. This happens to most people, and some don't want to admit it. It's such a buildup to this time of the year, and so hectic with shopping, wrapping, etc. etc. Go with the tide and it will pass quickly. Look forward, not back.
Happy New Year!

I hate to feel ungrateful, but yeah, I sort of am. I mean, my parents basically got me Red Sox stuff and slipper socks and a robe. I love the Red Sox, but I'm growing more of a feminime side. And seriously, why, why, would they get me a bathrobe, when they KNOW I'm never EVER going to wear it?
Whatever. I got a Maxi-Glide straightner, so I'm not completely disappointed.

I am let down the the season is over, the radio is playing regular music again, and that the "magical feeling" of the season is almost gone.
