My common hobby is collecting old coins still in circulation.

My hobby that is a bit rare is caring for rescue mice. Those are mice that were captured, but did not qualify for relocation due to health reasons or that they were born in captivity and may have difficulty adapting to living in the wild.

My most common hobby is that I am an avid reader.

My semi-uncommon hobby is that I read and know a lot about military history (rarely a woman's hobby--generally more common among men). I also know more than anyone other than a law enforcement officer should know about the history of serial killers and specific killers.

My uncommon hobby is that I collect words, phrases, quotations, poems, song lyrics, you name it. If it involves words, then I probably collect it. I have a big book full of quotations from all over the place. One of my favorites is an old blessing found on an artifact from ancient Egypt. I won't bore you with it here.

Be well, and may 2008 be a great year for you, friend!

I collect dead relatives. When I run out of my own, I grab people walking by, and try to find THEIRS, just for the challenge of it. My daughters loved to shock their friends when they were young..by telling them that we had picnics in cemeteries. After the friends got up, they then just explained it was genealogy/ family history... nothing freaky.
I drink tons of coffee, and stay up til all hours, answering weird questions here.
This new year, I think I am going to switch a bit, and collect email buddies from different places around the world.

My common hobby is gardening. My rare "hobby" would be squirrels. I feed them daily and enjoy watching their habits. When I put out their food, I call them and they come running like puppies. Guess you could say I am a bit "squirrely". My nickname is "Mother nature".

Cheers all
