I heard a while back they where making a Dead Like Me movie to try to get the show back, does anyone know if this is true? If so when is it said to be released?

...caught the promotional exhibit, this past July, at the San Diego International Comic Con, and it definitely illicited a well-expressed "Whow!!!"...
...there's still no exact release date on this direct-to-DVD film, except for 'sometime in 2008'; being an after-the-fact fan of this dark-humored tongue-in-cheek series, I am definitely looking forward to it's release, with hopes of having it reinvigorate interest in continuing the series...

It is definitely true and the movie is coming out summer of 2008. Rube will not be in it because he has another show now and Daisy will be replaced by somebody else, but her name escapes me now. I'm so excited because I love Dead Like Me but also I'm kind of wary because Rube is going to be gone. He was my favorite. Oh yeah and it's going to be straight to DVD.
