...like, I'm looking for some DVDs, which totally contain some of those old growdy looking movie previews they used to play at drive-ins, and those...Eww!!...nasty smelling downtown theater, back in the '70's. My boyfriend really likes that nasty stuff, and like, I'd really like to get something like this for his birthday...

Is there like, something like this out there???

...you're in luck, with this one!!! Fortunately, I'm a real big fan of those old movie trailers, myself (...oh, those grimy little two-to-three minute cinematic gems, which are, most of the time, better than the feature films they represent!!!)...

A distribution company, called Synapse Films, has put out a multiple DVD collection of classic '70's & '80's drive-in & grindhouse style movie trailers, called "42nd Street Forever"; in fact, they're coming out with a fourth volume, coming up this January...

...also, a company called Ban 1 Productions, have also put out some fine collections of old exploitation movies trailers, but their DVDs are only available exclusively through mail order from their website, and the editions they are selling, are very limited, so you have to jump on them right away, before they all sell out...

The only thing that comes to mind is a movie that came out this year called Grind-house. It was a double feature that Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez did. The idea behind it was to bring back the old style 70's style of horror movies. In the middle of the two movies they put mock 70's movie trailers. Which were quite funny. The only problem is when they came out with the movies in theater they were shown together but when they came out in stores the were separated. So i don't know if the trailers are still there. Tarantino's film is Death Proof and Rodriguez's film is Plant terror. I bet you could find the previews in a collectors edition of one of them.
