do you feel old when you can name every car and model in the 50s and 60s movies?

It makes me feel old when I look at the old cars and think the designs were better to look at then. Now they all look the same so they don't have the character they used too.
I'm being romantic because they are far more comfortable now, but I still think they looked better with the leather and wood interiors, etc.
Coming from "Ford" country to see a humber or an old Rover is still a treat.

No not really, the only reason I can remember a few from the 50s & a whole lot from the 60s n 70's is because I love racing. Those were the days here in the US when cars were real cars.....all the Muscle cars, big engines, street racin but the only time ya get to see em nowdays is at car shows or the drag races. I used to have one n it ran like a raped ape!! Loved it...those were the days. Today, ya couldn't afford the gasoline for them. Of course they had to be GM products!
Okay, maybe just a wee bit older, can't fib to ya!

When I started work as an office boy the senior partner had a Zephyr Zodiac and the other partner a Ford Consul - my first car was an MG Midget and 40 years later I still have a sports car ! - getting old is all in the mind !

I don't know where that puts me, I use to drive and own an Aujstin 12/6 1936. To be fair it was after the war, but what a lovely car.

Not me,Wurzel as I never had an interest in cars - so I'm spared that at least.

Edit - WEll I suppose I must call you "country" like the others now that you have put your seventh (big) head on now (ha ha).

not quite there yet, maybe I will feel old when I can name all the cars of the seventy's and eighties, but I don't if I ever will, as I'm not a car fan. !!!!!!
