Sorry that this may be too late but I feel that you will need a few graphs.
One is a pie graph showing the various foods consumed and the proportion represented by each food.
The next is a bar graph with each bar being the total food for that date. This graph should be shaded with a colour for each food.
Hope you get this in time.

With data you have you could create a bar graph for each food eaten or maybe a pie graph for the percentage of people that eat certain types of food. I was able to help you.
