I work as a carer for a woman with a disability....she has had no real contact with her family for 45 years....she was invited and attended a Christmas gathering with her family...it all went smoothly with many tears shed by her sisters/brother and mother....we had almost given up hope of her getting to see her relatives but an invitation was only extended 2 days before Christmas...after being asked what she wanted for Christmas....she said in a clear voice "mummy".....she is still talking excitedly about it....if that isn't a Christmas miracle I dont know what is.

Aw. Your miracle was ten times better than mine...congrats to her :) Mine was that my family of five was all home for Christmas morning and the whole day was spent with one another, catching up and having fun. It has not happened for the past eight years, so this was a treat.
