I am looking for a quality engagement ring for my fiancee, and am currently in Europe. Are there any recommendations for jewelry stores either in Amsterdam or throughout Germany, or anywhere else in Europe?

Each town worth naming has a jewelry store, in bigger towns there are many.
All I know are good, they have a slightly different selection each, but which is better for you depends on your taste and the taste of your beloved.
In Amsterdam you nearly trip over the jewelry shops, diamond factories and alike.
Just walk into several and compare prices and designs.
Some concentrate on 'standard' quality rings, others will have more special designs, and so on.
