Thanks for asking! By my standards I ate a fair bit, by anyone elses standards I don't think it would be too much. But I enjoyed it anyway, and no cooking and even no washing up ! Bonus!

Sam, we could send you some turkey but it might be a bit strange and colourful by the time it gets there. How do you think USA customs would like that ?? :o)

No , my relatives would not let me. I followed your advice and ate my desert first in case I died before the meal was over. When my cousins found out that I ate half of the whole cake and why, they got pissed and would not feed me any more.

They really got mad when they realized that if I died half way through the meal they might get stuck with the funeral expenses since I am single with no Insurance. They said that I should let them die first because their daughters would have no second thoughts what so ever about tossing my body in the garbage can. (lol)

No, like you I'm not a big eater so I might have had more than usual... but not much. I ate different things. But it's over for me and back to natural foods and running. I just feel much better that way.

I think it was the snacking all day before the dinner that really did me in.
the prime rib was great and the Italian goodies that went along.
I won't need to eat for a couple days now.

Nope. You know where I was and what I was doing so you know that it didn't include any Christmas dinner.

Our son was over last night (25th), though, and he was in the mood for Chinese food, so... (haha) They were the only place in town that was open.

Customs are not too big on perishable items...

No, I believe in nibbling all day, rather than eating a lot at once. Being hypoglycemic, I have no other choice... Eating doesn't mean I can skip a meal... so, I just nibble.
