What should i do (planting)?

Question

I live in brooklyn and i wanna grow some plants( flowers, herbs, vegtable..ect). Where i live i get pretty good amout of sunlight. When should i start planting and what kind should i palnt?

I'd plant outdoors in the spring after danger of frost is over, usually the last week of May. You can start earlier, but would have to cover some tender plants if a sudden frost is predicted. Cooler weather plants aren't usually harmed by late frost . Lettuce, tomatoes & peppers are pretty easy to grow. Sage, Lemon Balm & mint are easy to grow herbs.
