Yes the CD is protected and holding the left shift key does nothing. I would like this album on my MP3 player , how can I do it if the CD is protected?

Is the CD a protected CD ? Look for the "CD Audio" logo on the packaging, if it's not there it's probably oine of the new breed of composite CDs forcing you to use lower quality audio on a PC.

Also you say "without the disc" which disc U mean ? The original audio CD or the CD for the MP3 player ?

Try holding the left shift key as you insert the CD to stop the autoplay loading the protection crap.

What YOU Need To Do Is.... To Rip The Cd.. Using The Feature Available IN Windows Media Player.. Stated As RIP CD... Its ecause Al The Audio cds Require To Be Ripped To Play The Song Without Cd.........After You HAVE Stored It IN ur computer it will be in .wav format....so you have to convert it in .mp3 format using any free wav to mp3 converter available free on net... u can search it using yahoo...... and the convert it into an mp3 .. it iwll also ask for the kbps thing.. it defines quality.... select the 194 kbps if you want better quality or you can also go for 128 kbps which is equally good and occupies less space.. after conversion... delete the original ones.. as the ocupy 50mb each.....
