were not committed in the sense that were both married but that we have our own girlfriend and boyfriend..

And then you recall all the secrets that you two have told each other over the past years and realize that it is best that you two stay just friends because to try to be anything else would result in the death of a beautiful friendship. Lovers come and go but best friend are for life.

Perhaps you should tell him that he´s really super, and if it wasn´t for ???? you would like him too.
In any case, you`ve got so much time ahead of you both that,...well,.let´s face it, ..who knows what you have ahead of you both? He might not feel the same next year!
I was THREE when a very handsome, young 5- year- old play-fellow of mine made a formal visit to my mother and asked if could marry me when he grew up!
I wonder what my Mother answered him!
All I can say is that he didn´t marry me because his parents moved away back to South Africa.
I wonder if he would feel the same if we met again now?
One thing is for sure: We wouldn´t even recognize eachother now after the passing of so many years!
So, you see, you never know what is going to happen in life. Be kind to you friend. It´s lovely having someone say they love you.
I hope you will have many more people during your life feel the same for you!
