We always prefer to see the the grieving one in the script to
somehow get the prize for that part of her/his role in the story.
Just like what happened to cinderella in the end, when she married the prince . What happened to her aunt and her two daughters?.....Really, I do want or do prefer a happy ending
for the story because it feels good that after all the pains an actor /actresses (or in real life?....) will undergo they will achieve the success or freedom from what was supposed to be a defeat.... Yes, it might not be the case, but i would prefer a happy ending.....

I like believable endings.

I don't like happy endings for the sake of happy endings. The happy ending needs to make sense in relation to the story.

I also like unexpected endings and twisted endings and sometimes sad endings.

I like happy endings because in reality, it is the opposite. Happy endings lift up one's sagging spirit. It inspires as to dream and to hope.

I guess you would say opposite, since I like when things don't all fall perfectly into place. It isn't that happy endings are bad but they are so predictable and they get boring.

I like happy endings. When I read a book or take in a film, I want to see something or experience something upbeat to escape from the complexities of life. I definitely don't want to be crying after reading or watching a piece of fiction.
