This video could have been done anywhere in the world and gotten the same responses. There are ignorant people everywhere and there are some who prefer to not engage in the dramas of what is happening in the world. I knew each answer but that does not make me any smarter than someone who could not answer them. We are all good at something and I don't believe there are really any stupid people.
By the way, I am Australian - it was sad that many in the clip did not recognize my country as Australia - even though it was labeled differently.

I don't think they are dumb. Knowledge is NOT the same as intelligence. They are just NOT very well educated.
There are smart people there too. But it is the culture over there where people don't care about anything much if it is NOT American.
EDIT: having said that - it is sad to see that even questions about America some people still don't know (like the woman who said that Armstrong walked on the moon but the Russian was there first)

I didn't see the video but I can tell you that my American husband (who doesn't live in the U.S.) is not stupid. My brothers-in-law (who live there), are not stupid either but if you ask them certain questions regarding American culture they will be dogmatic about it.
I imagine you are from some Arab background and I can understand your point but really, depending on the point of view, any people can be stupid even yours...

No, but I think the people that misspell an easy word like "video" are pretty stupid.
Don't point fingers when you're not the brightest crayon in the box. Oh unless you happen to be American, then yeah, I guess you just posed as the poster child for the stupid American.

That "VEDIO", was so general. Most average Americans are smart. but we don't have the brightest crayons in the box at times. Let me say this you need to add spell check to your list! You spell it video!!! Most average American would see that at the top of box.

Their not stupid...just lazy and indoctrinated by the "system". The network news and news papers keep us pumped full of crap and we buy it lock stock and barrel, without doing any research into the real truth... A perfect example is Saddam Hussein.....a little poking around and just maybe you can find out he wasn't such a bad guy after all.....
