Well... I lived in both Paris and Bruxelles and I didn't like the moist cold... it just went right through me. I lived in England for 2 years, London and Kenilworth, and it got chilly but I thought it was generally more civilized, weather wise, than continental Europe.

I prefer the Mediterranean coast. I lived in Blanes, Spain and Marseilles, FR and that was MUCH more to my liking, weather wise, although both do get a bit nippy during the winter.

At this time, if I was to move back to Spain, it would have to be Valencia... that city is rocking now thanks to all the big money being poured into the infrastructure and the sailing there is to die for.

All.
I have been in places not worth returning to, but most of the time the next town over is much better.

Where I live is not the best, near a big steal factory, (with a lot of other smelly and dirty businesses on the grounds,) but I would not want to live anywhere else.

Some places are just breath taking, but I also see the negative side of living there.
I have fallen in love with the Norwegian countryside, the Alps and the big parts of France and Luxembourg. And feel at home in most of England.
But I also see the other side so I keep living where I live now.

As more of the European countries you visit the more you will learn of the countries and parts of Europe. Every country is beautiful, has an interesting culture and most people are nice. All the European countries are different!

No country is perfect of course, but by visiting a new country, you will find out the country/countries you yourself like the best. The very, very best part of Europe in my view is of course the part I come from myself, the northern part of Europe!

Happy Holidays to you!
