Planning to go on a well deserved vacation with the wife. Was thinking Vegas for 5-10 days (not all just gambling, some visiting too).

I have been there 3 times, always in the summer. However this time we're thinking going there January, February or March. My question: how is vegas during these months? Is it dead quiet? Cold? Is it just as fun as the summer months?

Any advice or pointer would be much appreciated! Thank you!

It's never dead quiet in Vegas, but it is cold. Yesterday it was about 30 degrees out. It's not freezing, but you don't want to walk around in shorts either.

It also gets windy sometimes in the winter, so bring a coat.

There are still shows to see, and restaurants, concerts, all of the shopping, etc. The pools are out but that's pretty much it. Have fun.

Well for starters Vegas is never quiet. There is always plenty to do. Clubs, casinos, shows, theatre, are just as busy as most other times of year. The main difference is the outdoor scene. The pools in Vegas are a big part of the fun for many people. If you are a pool person, you going to miss out on a very enjoybale activivty, but if you dont care about pools or whatever if wont matter much.

The weather is normally still comfortable. The days are 50s or 60s ussualy. Sometimes 40s. And the nights are chilly, but not terrible. And its sunny 90% of the time. So overall the weather is good, but not really for swiminng.

You can do every thing in the winter, but out side swinning . They usued to have more out side heated pools, but most close in winter months. I live here and it was 30o this 7 am so it is very cool when the sun goes down usually in 50-60 during day unless a storm or wind comes in from the north.TAKE A WINTER COAT SCARF.You can go to the mountains MT charleston lodge, very nice on a cold winter night. You can side trips to Mesquit, Zion nat, park. we have a lot of conventions in jan and beyond, the city is never Dead. New years is jammed.. Have fun..

specific, have faith me, specific. I went whilst i grow to be ten & it grow to be fairly some relaxing. you may no longer gamble or drink, yet you may play video games, loiter around at swimming pools, and circulate to leisure parks. there's a large curler coaster on the strip and thrilling rides in Circus Circus and Stratosphere and the Sahara and greater. There are unfastened shows exterior to observe and stuff. you will in simple terms have relaxing jogging the Strip and seeing the creative lodges modeled after prominent places and stuff. have faith me, it quite is going to likely be relaxing. i could advise Las Vegas for babies or childrens each time. playing isn't the only component in Vegas.

Vegas is Hot no matter what time of year you go. Just because it is not tourist season does not mean it is dead.

I went during Halloween and it was amazing. My co worker last year went around Christmas time and he loved it.

It is fun, I beleive the coldest it gets is in the 40's
