Its so so sad. I cant imagine going through something like that. It really makes you realize how lucky you are, seeing some of the things people go through. Ive got tears in my eyes from when they were showing that baby

No - I didn't watch it. There have been enough of that on TV the past three years. But I guess it is good they put it on. We MUST NOT forget this event - to keep reminding us to NEVER take life for granted and to always think of those who are still affected by it. And hopefully we still remember to help them when we can. (affluent societies have the habit of forgetting things like this as time goes on and we get on with our big christmas eating and drinking and big spending - forgetting that there are still kids in Sri Lanka and India and Thailand and Indonesia who have no family left)

I was in Thailand several times since the tsunami. There is still a large notice board down in Khoa Sarn Road with photos and pictures of missing peersons there. Many people have NOT given up hope.

Let us NOT forget this.

I'm not, but my parents are. Every time I go downstairs to re-fill my drink I catch a glimpse of it. It looks really bad ...

I agree with what you're saying and how lucky we are. It's sad that some people just don't realize it until they are faced in a situation like that.
