Most of the time I leap before I look. That has made my life interesting and allowed me to learn from my mistakes, but it has also made my life an adventure.

If I HAVE TO leap...then the look time is shorter. No need to consider the pros and cons cause I'm gonna leap anyway. But, I will look for a longer period of time if I'm gonna leap just because I want to leap. Maybe I'll look long enough to change my mind.

That all depend on the drop.
I have literally jumped off a two story building because i knew I would land safe.
I realized as I was falling that the leap is nothing. The falling is the big sensation, and the landing is always a bit of a gamble.
Luckily I have not broken any thing to date.
So it all depends on the drop.

I take a very loong time hehe sometimes to long but I like to make the right decision in what feels right for me and not what is right.................
If I do not feel right then i will never leap.................
Not to say I have not leaped in the past you must take chances but if you are an intelligent human being you can rationalize even when it comes to LOVE :))))

Look as long as you want.
Just leap carefully, and trust that the universe loves you and would never give you something that cannot help you learn and grow.
love and blessings Don

depends on how vast, how big, how deep, and far where i'm leaping to goes.
in general, i take note of the long term picture, then leap to fight through the short term circumstances.

The longer I look the more unlikely I'll take the chance to leap... So, just do it! (I sounded like a nike ad)

It is not the quantity but the quality of your observation that is important here.
You could look for say 5 minutes , see water down there but neglect to notice that the tide is going out and so the water is shallow.
