I have done this a number of times but other times I have been lucky enough to realize just before its too late. It's mostly during the day time, I'm not listening to music and I can be driving by myself or with someone. Is there something mentally wrong with me. I think my license should be taken away, I really scare myself, one day someone is going to get hurt.

If you can't see whats relevant to what you are doing and is in your field of view.

Then it means your brain is processing some other information that it considers more important.

You need to clear you head when you drive, maybe not drive alone and inform the passenger to prompt you of any obvious dangers you are not reacting to.

If you have a medical condition, or attempt to use that in your defence in a court of law, then its very likely you have just invalidated your insurance, since you have not declared all the important peices of information.

So you might get off one charge, but you would get done for driving without insurance.

You also need to seriously reconsider if you should be driving, you might hurt someone, you would have to live with that, you might go to jail and all that entails for your family.

Maybe your color BLIND, you couldn't distinguish white from red or blue ones. You consult a psychologist or clinical doctors on this matter, I guess your right it is better to know what really troubles you now before everything is too late.

I've done this once or twice but if it happens more often you shouldn't drive.
