Teleporters, Transporters, Warp drives, faster than light travel, Time travel.......
These "trekkie" pseudo-sciences are based on the ideas of altering time and space through technology.
Define the fabric of time. Define the fabric of space.
How can you manipulate something you can not define?
No. I don't think that these will ever happen.

If you can conceive the idea, it is possible.
Just look at some of the things that were written and drawn in comics and movies decades ago.
All the fanciful stuff that was "so far out it was impossible" but the thought and concept was so exciting.
Then look at where we are now! A lot of the imaginings from decades ago are now here in our life time.
Of course it is possible - I also think we could communicate without speaking if we wanted to. Telepathy!
If the idea is conceived, and believed, then it is possible.
I hope I am around to experience it.

Only way I see it possible is if a computer took a picture of all the molecules in your body and rebuilt your body in another location... with completely different molecules, then destroyed your original body. Keep in mind this would mean death for whomever is transporting...lol
