im trying 2 download music on my new ipod, but it keeps taking me in circles. wen i download the itunes thing it says thank u. but then wen i try and get music it tells me 2 download the thing again. ny mom already paid like $50 for a lifetime membership but it still takes us in circles. sum1 plz help me this is so frustrating

well you didnt need to pay anything all u have to do is download itunes from thins link: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
and then download limewire at :limewire.com
then you download music from limewire and you transfer them 2 itunes i know it could be distressing but i know how u feel nice avatar by the way...

There is no "lifetime membership" in iTunes. You have to create an apple account, and link a paypal/credit/debit account to it to download music, and you only pay 99 cents per track.
It will give you instructions on how to do it when you try to buy a track from the iTMS for the first time.

If you paid any sort of membership fee, you likely have been scammed. Be sure you're only downloading iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes

although it must be explained in your manual, just download your i-pod cd onto your pc. connect your i-pod to the usb. if you are taking a song from the net, make sure you download it onto your computer. launch the i-pod program you just installed, select the song you want to add. then just click go. good luck

you have to create an itunes account first before you download anything from the itunes store.

after that the purchases should be much easier.
