I turned my oven on yesterday to bake some bread and after 10 minutes realised the bread was not cooked!?? The fan is still going as normal but it is just blowing cold air. Has this happened to anyone? and isthere any way to fix it? I don't know if there is some sort of thermostat or fuse thats broken?? but desperately need to use it!

You could have a blown fuse, a bad thermostat, or your heating element could be dead. I'd call a serviceman, if I were you.

There will not be a separate fuse for the element, and since the fan is working from the same control then it is 95% likely that the element has failed and will have to be replaced. The other 5% is a loos or burnt out spade terminal.

If its an electric oven, then the element has failed ( the one that is around the fan at the back of the oven) and will have to be replaced. Will cost around £20 for a new element.
Will only take around 20 Min's to change over.
Take your old element with you and your local stockist will match it up for the correct new one.
P.s. make sure you switch off the cooker socket first.

the fan element t has blown, if your any good at diy then its not a difficult job, make sure you isolate the oven from the mains before attempting any repair, or you may not be seeing the new year in !!!

Probably need a new element.
They don't last as long as they used to.
Cost about £30
