There are so many people who love naruto (like me <3) but what is it that drew you to it?
did you fall in love with the first ep?
did you hate it and then saw an ep and fell in love?
was it because of a character??
please tell me!!!

thank you ^^

------------------
at first i was like, "oh, its ok..." it was just ok. nothing more. nothing less. i watched it cuz so many people started talking about it... and it was like everywhere i went! (seriously...)

but then i saw the zabuza eps... ah... i fell in love!!
when some of the nine tails came out of him i though he was soo amazing!! and then haku was sooo cool!! the action was amazing and the story was enticing!!

i thought that sasuke was so cool, but since the beginning naruto has always been my fave character!
it just got to the point where i reached the point of no return... ah...i love naruto... lol!!

so what drew you to it??

Ya, it first started with Naruto. It was always on and I never bothered to watch it,in fact I almost hated it at the time. In August of this year when they had the Naruto marathon from episodes 1-100 i started watching because nothing else was on. Once I saw the some of the episodes and I was getting into it I was hooked,I was so into it I watched the whole marathon from start to finish for the three days it was. After that I loved Naruto ever since and I think its the best show ever made, and after that I started getting into more anime/manga too. It all I read and watch now. I love the action and plot's in it and on the side relationships especially between Naruto and Hinata.

Naruto Rocks!!!!!

heheheh any manga 'bout Ninja will make people curious.

when first I bought Naruto I sensed it doesn't have that kind of "oh OK" feeling like when I read other shounen manga. well I read many shounen manga which taken Ninja as its base but when Naruto reach volume 5, Kishimoto-sensei storytelling confirmed my suspicion. it had loads more than just black and white fight between good and evil or between type A jutsu's and one's clan special ability, which made me thought Naruto manga should be moved to seinen category.

the same feeling like when I read Urasawa-sensei Monster manga- a thrill. so I keep continue collecting it. Naruto manga has a close relation to what happens in reality. being abandon and shut out by society, the harsh part of having no special ability but trying to work hard to compensate it, the unwanted genius of a noble clan, yesterday friend became today foe, the blazing greed for top most position, Kishimoto-sensei richly mixed these many coloured yarns to become a big canvas full of action titled Naruto.

I was hoping that Naruto anime came out as good as manga, but, ow gosh, I'm unceremoniously really let down. not to worry Kishimoto-sensei, I still look forward to your new chapter.

I was about the same. A friend of mine told me about it cause I watched DBZ at the time and he said it was way better. So i watched a couple episodes and I was like meh its ok. Then the first fight with zabuza happened before they got to the water village and I was hooked after that. The fights involve so much more strategy and twists compared to DBZ... I guess thats what drew me to it. Characters with different and interesting battle skills and the battles are action packed and strategic.

Well, I got hooked on it back in 2001 when I bought a Japanese Vol. 2 of Naruto. I didn't understand what the heck it said, I just liked the drawings and charcter design.

It wasn't till about 2 years later that a friend of mine said it was "Naruto" and showed me some clips of the show on youtube. After that, I was hooked on it.

well, my friends told me about it and when im introduced to an anime i watch the 1st 5 episodes to give the story a chance to pick up, altho Naruto took longer but it somehow made me wanna know what happens next, but i think it mostly had to do with Kakashi cuz i thought he was so cool, and the humour was funny, the 2nd episode about the Sexy Jutsu
