First off great link Mackman. Good research.

Should USA and England apologize?
Well saying sorry will be a first step to resolving the problems in the world.

But being open and honest will also convince people that the concept of democracy is something that can exist and not a mere word used to dress up tyranny!

The true in all things and from all side is the only way forward and without it we will continue in this self destructive state, until we make one too many foolish error.

The oil control story goes back a long way, those who with to know the truth should take a look at the first blog entry on my 360 page (link below)

I am aware of kinzer's books and a fan of Democracy Now. I say I am a fan because they give another perspective. I don't always agree with them but I need to know all sides to form some opinions. Kinzer sees American involvement in everything as a certain evil. Maybe, maybe not, BUT we are now at war (and make no mistake this is a war) with Islamic 'extremists' because of our actions in Iran. I am not sure an apology would have any effect at all on the situation. The leaders over there (most educated in western countries) would understand the apology and the reason for it. They might be offended by it as they think they are all fine and good now. That being the case maybe they should thank us. The Iranian people are certainly the most educated in the middle east, and they would understand the apology. The 'extremists' would, for the most part, not understand it and would use it against us. So....no, no apology just a hope we learn from our mistakes.

Apologize? George Bush apologize? Evidently the man would rather eat worms. He has not yet apologized to Americans for his lies about Iraq. He continues to swagger and act as though he is bringing Democracy to the Iraqi, not counting those thousands and thousands that are dead.

However, with egg on his face, the "Iranian Nuclear Crisis" sales pitches have ceased somewhat. He will never apologize because, in my opinion, he considers the American people to be mindless fools who will believe any lie that they hear.

What I'm ready here is a bunch of liberals who feel they need to blame the worlds problems on America. Funny how you want us to help you give you aid and send you money. yet you feel you can blame your problems on us.FACT Iran is a religious Government state that will not tolerate any other type of government.Fact Iran has already stated that all non Muslim's should die. Fact Iran has been at war with some for the last 100 years. Fact they are a country that will do anything to make them self important. You think you can hug and kiss the butts of the Iran religious government. They will slit your throat and laugh in the name of their belief

The ones who should apologize are the oil princes and their families who have been buying influence worldwide for almost 100 years . Those ones are nothing more than a criminal elite that should be abolished .

Excellent Link!

Not only should the USA and UK apologize, they should pay reparations for the suffering caused by their tyrant - the Shah of Iran, and for the bombardment of Iran since he was overthrown.

Given this background it is not suprising that once free from the Shah, Iran took Americans prisoner.

Well they haven't attacked Iran yet and its quite unlikely due to the Russians influence and interests and I am sure the americans and the brits wouldn't like to take on someone their own size. I am of course referring to their nuclear arsenal.
