I also got three.
Don't take it personally. Over the past few years many bath and lotion kits have come out in food scents--pumpkin, vanilla, spices, even chocolate, I think--and I imagine many people find this fascinating, as I do. Also, most people do use lotions, shampoos, etc., so such gifts are useful. Enjoy!

One. Let's face it, buying gifts can be a drag. There are tastes, sizes, prices, lifestyles, etc to consider. A Bath & Lotion fits most everyone and you can find some nice ones for a pretty decent price. I don't mind getting a nice one, it is the cheapies that leave me wondering,..gee for a few dollars more you could have gotten me something a little nicer or gee, why is it in the giver's favorite color and scent instead of mine (when they know or should know.) I also hate it when everyone in the same gift giving family gets the exact same kit--it makes it feel like there was not very much thought about the person in the giving. I got a gift one year and thought to myself oh how lovely--the giver remembered how I adore blah blah blah--then I looked up and noticed everyone got the same da.. thing. That was disappointing, because I really tend to think about each person as I "treasure hunt" a gift for them. (Well, this changed for me this year and now I just get whatever--if I happen to see something they like okay, if not the he** with it. I gave all my nieces and nephews the same stuff. I had bought the same thing for the couples, but had to change one out that was damaged so they ended up getting different things to my disappointment!!) Ironically, the same said persons gave me and my dh more personal gifts than last year and here I just found the first thing that was passable--it was damaged and so I ended up getting something that looked a little more thoughtful, but was just something I stumbled on! Next year, I will stick to impersonal as well--I'm hoping a year will come when they give up buying me stuff. I hate the whole deal.
I just started on using one up from last xmas back in November as I had forgotten it was there. The one I got this year was not a "set," but one that was put together. (Or maybe it was part of a large set and it was parted out!! ha!) I can't say that "I can't wait to use it," but I can say, "I'll use it--or most of it and I will enjoy knowing that it will run out and I can toss it out eventually," versus "oh sh** another ceramic I'll be dusting for years to come. As for giving them out, I've done that and all, so all is fair when it comes to me getting them, so I'm screw**. I will probably just give them out next year ha ha ha. Or candles ha ha ha.
I'd like an all natural, organic set in the future if I were to get anymore. This will never happen and I wish that somehow I am the only one who buys my bath kits from now on.

I spent christmas alone this year so I bought my own presents.... I got 2 lotions, a body splash, 3 hand sanitizers, and a regular hand soap from bath and body works.

lol this is the first year I didn't get any of those sets but I made sure to drop hints that I didn't want any of those. I'm sure you don't stink. People see gift sets, they're priced reasonably and can't resist. Hang on to them and give them as gifts for birthdays or whatever :) They can be useful.

I got 3 also...i think it's from a lack of the person knowing what else to buy.
Last year it was scented candles...if i remember correctly , i got 12 different scented candles last year.

None.
People are broke and the bath sets were deeply discounted.
