so my question is, how long/much neck kissing/licking should i do before we need to switch this up?

You could always try the "Trust Me" game.
(This works better if she is wearing a skirt.)
The guy puts his hand on the girls knee. After a few minutes of talking/kissing he asks the girl "Do you trust me?".
If she says yes - he moves his hand up her leg.
Repeat until she says "No" or your hand is discovering what style of panties she is wearing.

Be thankful you are getting what you get. Some girls take longer to get to the point you are at. Our minds work different. We are more emotional, and taught from a very young age that you should really save sex for thier wedding night. If you love her, you will be understanding, and let her set the tone. Have a talk with her that you would like to do more, but am unsure of how she feels. Show her you care for her and about her.

I would think, whenever you are both ready to move on to something else, i don't think you can put a time limit on how much you are enjoying something. it's kind of unsexy, unrealistic and mood ruining to say oh 10 minutes of kissing, 15 mins of fondling, 5 mins of....you get the idea. have fun, use a condom.

try rubbing your hand at the side of her chest just underneath the armpit it she tenses up or moves your hand, back down if not go a little further and wait till she stops you.
A man goes as far as a girl lets him. keep that in mind.
