so I started birth control last week and i noticed today that; 1) I pee often, 2) and when I do i get a tingly sensation. When i wipe, i see blood. Although it's faint, it only occurs after i pee and when i wipe, is this normal? do other women get this? what is it? And i dont think its spotting.

Could be irritated bladder. Drink more water, and consult a doctor and probably do a urine test to check. Other things could include kidney stones.

I suggest you go to a docter. Things like the can result in desises although thats not what i am suggesting. Birth control has very rarely harmed the women in its use. I think you should go as soon as possible. If the pee is a dark yellow, you should drink more as it will help if you have pain.

you can spot very lightly once you start bc pills. The frequency and the tingling sound like a urinary tract infection though. If it starts to hurt and you start to have a really strong urge to pee, but you cant or you only pee in very small amounts and you see blood in your urine, its time for a trip to the doctor!!!!

This sounds more like cystitis or UTI than anything else. I don't think it's got anything to do with the pill. Take a urine sample to the GP, I think you have an infection.

Goto the doctor if you don't know... is this blood coming out of the urethra (the hole urine is expelled from) or the vagina (the hole where penises go, blood comes out of, etc.)? Urination obviously requires some 'pushing' of the sphincter which may also push out some blood out of the vagina... causing minor spotting.
