I would say thank you very much, and then give them a hug and tell them they aren't bad themself (only if they really weren't bad themselves)

It makes me happy but it can also be scary if you don't know what the person wants .Examples I've had:
Drunk guy in bar tells me I'm beautiful: I roll my eyes. He can't even see straight, much less know how I look
Man in public place with people around: I feel flattered and I will smile back, it is a conversation starter.
Man in dark parking lot when I'm all alone: I run for my car!!!
Guy at a party where people are mingling: I take it well and it sparks a conversation.
Any creepy guy, anywhere: Freaks me out!
Any guy anywhere when my dad is with me: I say "thanks" and make a quick exit.
One time a guy wrote me a note in a restaurant, stapled money to the note to pay for my meal telling me I had a beautiful smile that made his night. He gave it to the waitress and left, I never even met him: Really made me feel great, even years later.

I would take it as a compliment if they said it in a way that I could tell they were sincere & not just trying to pick me up. I would think most anyone would like to hear that someone thought they were beautiful...

say thank you.. i have to mention tho.. i HATE guys who say stuff like that and never come back to talk to u. if ur gonna do that then dont bother coming up to me to tell me im beautiful in the first place.

depends. was it some lame pick up line? then I'd basically tell him to back off. If he was just like "wow you are very beautiful" I'd say "okay, thank you" just to be polite

depends on on the situation...but in most cases say thank you and smile lol and if the guy is cute probably blush
