I have a micro SD card that i plugged into my computer in the slot for the sd card, a green light has come on, but how do i locate and open this device on my computer once it's plugged in?

go to my computer and start trying to open any drives after c:/
the sd card slot should have a specific drive designation. When you find the right drive create a shortcut and name it so you don't forget. Then invest in a USB micro SD card holder, it transfers about ten times as fast.

Go to "My Computer" there should be the folder for that micro SD....

Open windows explorer. Click on My Computer. It should be listed as a divice click on it and it will show you what is contained on the card.

It should show up in your "My Computer" window as a new drive, possibly named something similar to "Removable Drive (E:)"?
