I choose my career path. I am a licensed accident, life and health insurance agent for Medicare beneficiaries in the U.S. I love my clients! The insurance is a challenge but I feel like I'm helping them to navigate the system to their advantage.

Well, it isn't my chosen career field. When I started working here at the hotel it was just a job. But I love it now, and I want to do this for a very long time. I will be getting promoted this year to a management position.

My chosen career would be a very rich, international playboy. But I work in Yosemite natl. park as a Tram Driver / narrater in the Mariposa grove of giant Sequoias where I take about fifty people at a time for a 7 mile, 75 minute narrated tour of the most beautiful place on the planet. And yes, I LOVE my job.

Yes, I love it! I had to go back to school for a second degree though. My first degree didn't pay the bills and I ended up in a job I hated. But going back was worth it. Now I'm very challenged and happy in my career.

It turned out to be an odd version of what I went to "school" for and it's just a job until I remember the benefits, the 401k, the bonuses, and the freedom that I'll never find in another business.

I'd have to say it's more than a job now. But it's not a career that I chose, either. It kinda chose me. I never intended to do it for more than five years. But it's been more than 30 years now.
