The Grinch and Scrooge are too mean to have a relapse.
As for me, I have relapsing and remitting MS and the stress of Christmas has sent me into a relapse. (And I thought I had cured myself! Humbling indeed!)

The Grinch-- old timers are more likely to learn from hard lessons, that's the way most of us got through life in the first place.

The Grinch - he was born evil! LOL....and it is his nature so he will morph back into SELF.
Scrooge's behavior was 'protective' and learned and when he was shown the light he opened up a part of him that was always there...not to mention he is much older and pretty apt to meet his maker soon so he has more investment in staying 'good' :-)

Scrooge is more likely to have a relapse because he's older and it's harder for an old dog to learn new tricks.

Neither. I vote Santa. I can just see him now, lying in his recliner, red jacket off, in his tee shirt, boots off, feet swollen, blood pressure cuff on his arm being administered by Mrs. Santa, oxygen thingy on his red nose, saying "As God is my witness, I will NEVER do this again!" (But he always does.)

They are both equally evil in their own way. It is a tie.
