other than being factors of 8, your answer would have to also be prime.
C wouldn't work because 4 does not fall under the definition of being prime (having factors 1 and itself) because 2 is a factor of 4.
2 is obviously a factor of 8 and also prime since two can only be written 1x2=2 (it has factors 1 and itself, namely 2).
